Reuters - William A. Fraker, a six-time Oscar-nominated cinematographer, died Monday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after a battle with cancer. He was 86.

ADAM: Outgoing showrunner Shawn Ryan says the final nine episodes build to a cliff-hanger leading into Season 3, even though many of the episodes stand alone. One reunites Ryan with six cast members from his hit cable series, The Shield. Airing Aug. 16, the episode finds Lightman (Tim Roth) wondering if he sent the wrong person to jail in a child murder case. "We get called to an execution and the guy says he didn't do it, and he didn't do it," Roth says. "The reason he is getting executed is because I was a witness. So he's sentenced to death based on my science and my testimony."
