Birthday girl Miranda Lambert was the big winner at the 44th Annual CMA Awards, while Gwyneth Paltrow brought country fans to their feet in her debut performance.

Lambert, who turned 27 Wednesday, walked away with four awards including album of the year for Revolution and female vocalist of the year. She also won song of the year and music video of the year, both for "The House That Built Me." Lambert's fianc, Blake Shelton, took home male vocalist of the year.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Gwyneth Paltrow made her live television singing debut on the 44th Annual Country Music Awards on Wednesday night in Nashville.

Dressed in a thigh-skimming black dress and ankle boots, Gwyneth took the stage at the Bridgestone Arena, where the Oscar winner sang "Country Strong," from her upcoming movie of the same name.
