The testimony came during a preliminary hearing to determine if Murray, the singer's personal physician, will be tried on a charge of involuntary manslaughter. |

The sci-fi smash "Inception" and the lesbian family tale "The Kids Are All Right" were among guild nominees Tuesday for best original screenplay, along with the ballet thriller "Black Swan," the boxing saga "The Fighter" and the comic drama "Please Give." |
Julia Stiles To Join Broadway Cast Of ‘Fat Pig’ Posted: 04 Jan 2011 10:49 AM PST Julia Stiles will join Dane Cook and Josh Hamilton in a production of Neil LaBute's "Fat Pig" on Broadway this spring. The three will team up beginning April 12 at the Belasco Theatre on 44th Street for the darkly comic tale of a bachelor who falls for a plus-size girl. The show officially opens April 26. |
Sheriff Wants Lindsay Lohan Charged With Battery Posted: 04 Jan 2011 08:56 AM PST Sheriff's investigators want Lindsay Lohan charged with battery for last month's skirmish with a Betty Ford Center rehabilitation technician. A two-week investigation shows Lohan violated her probation during the Dec. 12 altercation and details will be sent to the Los Angeles County Probation Department this week, Riverside sheriff's Sgt. Joe Borja said in a news release. A Beverly Hills judge has said Lohan will be jailed if she violates probation. |
