‘The Other Guys’ Starred by Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg

'The Other Guys' is action-comedy film starring Will Ferell and Mark Wahlberg, Directed and co-written by Adam McKay, the film also stars Samuel L. Jackson, Dwayne Johnson, Michael Keaton, Eva Mendes, Ray Stevenson, Steve Coogan, Rob Riggle and Damon Wayans Jr. Showing on August 6, 2010.


PLOT: New York City Detective Allen Gamble (Will Ferrell) is a forensic accountant who is more interested in paperwork than fieldwork. Detective Terry Hoitz (Mark Wahlberg) has been stuck working with Gamble since an embarrassing shooting. Gamble and Hoitz both admire top cops Highsmith (Samuel L. Jackson) and Danson (Dwayne Johnson), but when Gamble and Hoitz’s chance to prove themselves arises, things don’t go as planned.

Ellen DeGeneres Quits on ‘American Idol’

After a first season judge on the hot talent search 'American Idol', talkshow host Ellen DeGeneres announces a sudden exit as judge of “American Idol”.


“It was a difficult decision to make, but my work schedule became more than I bargained for,” Ellen said.

“We love Ellen and understand and support her decision to bow out of Idol,” said Peter Rice, chairman of entertainment, Fox Networks Group. “We were fortunate to receive the humor, energy and love for talent that she brought to the show.”

Jennifer Lopez is rumored to replace Ellen De Generes as new American Idol judge.
