Charice and Lea Michele – Telephone – Glee ‘Audition’ Episode

Charice Pempengco‘s first performance on Glee's 2nd season is singing Lady Gaga and Beyonce‘s “Telephone” with Lea Michele. Charice is a Filipino foreign exchange student named Sunshine and Lea is Rachel. The scene happened inside the girls’ CR. Rachel (Lea Michele) approached Sunshine (Charice) to encourage her to join the glee club. However, when she heard Sunshine sing “Telephone,” Rachel immediately recognized her as competition. Charice at the Red Carpet Glee Premiere Party

Youtube sensation Charice Pempengco attended the red carpet premiere party of the second season of the megahit Fox tv series "Glee."



18-year-old Charice role on Glee is Sunshine Corazon, a Filipino exchange student at fictional William McKinley High School "whose killer vocals get Rachel (Berry) contemplating murder."

In an interview at the red carpet, Charice said her character is very much like her in real life.

"I'm very, very happy that my character is Sunshine. Sunshine is very, very Charice, simple one, shy type," she said.

In season 2's pilot episode, Charice's character is being pitted to Rachele Berry (Lea Michele).

"We're like frenemies, I think that's the word... and we're gonna sing a very, very big song, Lady Gaga and Beyonce. It's ‘Telephone.’ So, it's gonna be amazing," she said.

Glee 2nd Season ‘Britney Spears’ Episode Spoiler

The second season of Glee was announced to be the Britney Spears episode.


Lea Michele gives some hints about the Britney Spears episode:

“It’s gonna be a really big episode…I’ve always loved Britney Spears, and I get to do something REALLY cool,” she said.

“What I loved about the episode is there’s old songs, there’s new songs, and Ryan (Murphy) also does what was really cool in the Madonna episode, how he took a song and had the boys sing it. He does the same thing with Britney and I can’t wait to hear it because the idea sounds so cool.”

“I am singing a classic Britney Spears song that I’m so excited about. I am recreating a Britney video, but I can’t say what it is yet,” she added.

Matthew Morrison, on the other hand, revealed that Mr. Schuster will be anti-Britney:

“I like Britney. I got in trouble earlier for comments I made saying I’m anti-Britney, but I’m not. I think in this episode they’re going to mirror those comments and I’m going to be very anti-Britney in the episode because I don’t like what she represents…It’s gonna be a lot of fun and some crazy stuff is gonna happen,” he said.

"Chord Overstreet" the Newest Member of ‘Glee’

Chord Overstreet is the newest member of the popular US tv series 'Glee'. Producers announced the news during the Comic-Con Convention in San Diego.



Chord, will be playing the role of Sam, a McKinley high school athlete who starts off as Finn (Cory Monteith)’s protégé but becomes his competition. We will all see him on Glee’s second season premiere episode, airing Tuesday, September 21.
